Melina Finkelstein's Peace Industry® program began in Iran in 2002 and is now reborn with a new generation of women artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal. During a 2024 residency, Melina personally trained the all-woman felt-making team in her signature wet felt techniques.

Casa Muñiz Design is Melina Finkelstein's flatweave collection made in collaboration with master Zapotec weavers in Teotitlán del Valle — a village in the Valley of Oaxaca renowned for its weaving tradition since pre-Columbian times.
Casa Muñiz rugs are hand-woven to order in Oaxaca, Mexico. Natural dye preparation adds time but ensures permanent, rich colour.
Kush Up is made in Nepal in collaboration with Gaju Rugs — a Himalayan wool specialist with deep roots in traditional hand-knotting. Hand-spun, carded and knotted in the Himalayan foothills.
Kush Up rugs are hand-knotted to order. Lead time depends on size and complexity — traditional patterns with intricate borders take longer.
